Got Baited by Wyze robot vacuum purchase

Got Wyze vacuum a week ago. So far I have tried more than 5 times and not even once its been able to vacuum the whole floor due to various issues.

I thought i would return to only find out that its not returnable. Not sure how i did not notice that when purchasing but deeply annoyed and feel fooled by Wyze.

This product is not working properly. Tried to contact support only to be on hold for very long time and had to run. will definitely going to talk to customer service to take this back even if they don’t refund me.

Can you provide, us community members, with more information? What exactly are you experiencing, what steps have you tried, What FW Version is on it, etc.

Did you do a quick map of your home first, before trying to vacuum a room>

Here are few issues:
First tried in my 2nd floor, mostly hardwood with area rugs and three bedrooms with carpet.

  1. Its not mapping one side of the rooms, reset multiple times and tried
  2. On the side vacuum gets stuck on area carpets (rugs), these are very low profile ones and when the robo vacuum does not go over them, but somehow get stuck , pull the carpet over and becomes stuck.

Tried on the ground floor:

  1. Was able to map the floor, again hard wood with area rugs.
  2. Since the ground floor area rugs are little higher, was not getting stuck but got stuck in side tables, just blocked the whole room.
  3. Once vacuum starts, the path is follows is always same, two times the battery ran out with vacuuming one side of the floor and after re-charging it goes to same side again, there seems to be no way for me to force it to go and vacuum other (un-vacuumed) side of the floor.
