Maybe the Wyze software engineers can learn a thing or two about software QA, validation and testing from Apple.
That will for sure quadruple the price of the Wyze cameras. I’m almost certain that these “Wyze guys” are already overworked, being in a smaller company, wearing many different hats. Apple is a Magnificent Seven company.

Can confirm that with wyze app 3.10.5.2 the garage door button is restored and working on an iPhone with Wyze garage cam share.
Note after the first garage cam live view connect to the shared garage cam the app gave me a pop up stating that I could run a garage door position calibration. Assuming it didn’t need a new cal I just canceled it and then it gave me the normal live cam view and GarageDoor button where the SD Card button had been the last few weeks. All is good again #phew

Not necessarily. Wyze Software Engineers need to follow best practices regarding software testing.

But you didn’t make that comparison initially. You compared them to Apple.
I compared them to software Quality Assurance (QA), validation and testing from Apple as I said in my post. Read it again.
I read it. You said Wyze engineers can learn from Apple engineers. You didn’t say Wyze engineers can learn from the industry. Two different entities. That’s what I’m trying to point out.
