My neighbors catalytic converter was being stolen early this morning, my camera picked it up and alerted me, I hit the siren mode on the app, little did I know doing this puts the floodlight into a flashing mode thus making the video of the thieves useless. Have a suggestion for Wyze during siren mode make the floodlights go to full brightness instead of flashing to get the best video possible. or at least give you the option of full brightness or flashing in the advanced menu. Simple firmware update.

WOW! I never tested the Siren. I am amazed that the floodlight flashes when the siren is activated.
NOT good for video jumping from color to IRNV and back and white blinding the cam. I haven’t tested it when the cam is in IRNV yet, but I will tonight to get some good video to submit.
Definately should be a user selection setting for the floodlight to be off, blink, or on when the siren activates. Great suggestion. May need to add a Wishlist topic to get this feature request on the books.

I have posted a Wishlist request for the “Flash Floodlight with Siren” feature to be added to the Floodlight Pro so that users have the ability to turn the feature off.
