My Floodlight Pro’s floodlight is being set off by bugs but I have the settings to only turn on for people or pets.
Is there a way to make it so the floodlight only turns on when the camera sees a person or a pet?
Hmm, that is weird. Mine is only being triggered by people. I am not sure why yours is triggering on other things.
If this were happening to me, I would try clearing the cache, starting my phone, switch it back to motion then switch back to smart detections.
If that didn’t work, I would restart the FLPro unit.
If that still didn’t fix it, I would go hold the reset button for 10-30 seconds until I hear it factory reset/restart then go through setup again. I actually had to do this before to get it to fix the internal Edge AI stuff after a firmware update. After I did this it fixed everything to work normally. It may be that you will need to do this too, but just in case, I’d try the other 2 things first.

I have attempted the first two troubleshooting steps but it did not change anything. I will reset the camera and see what happens.

Did you try turning down the sensitivity?
