I have floodlight cam one with the v3 cam. When I click on the flood light icon the light comes on as expected however as soon as I close the app or put my phone to sleep and back in my pocket the light goes out. Frustrating! I have no idea if this due to recent firmware or an app problem. I have the latest for both. Anyone else with this problem? By default i have light off and only want on when I need the extra light.
have you tried setting up a shortcut for that device so you can hit the shortcut without going into the live view?
The automation to turn it on does keep it on after putting the phone to sleep, thanks! This is a good work around
of course, there is still a problem with floodlight icon not working as intended or as it use to work.
With that particular one, I don’t recall if that was design or not and sadly I don’t have one of those anymore, I needed a wider view, but I’m glad it worked! I have shortcuts for turning all of mine on and off and it’s wonderful and very quick
