Hello, I just set up some new cameras for my parents and got them cam unlimited. I installed one v4, one FloodLight Pro, and one Doorbell Pro.
The issues im having is that the flood light pro is not accepting the cam unlimited license. I have power cycles the camera and reset the service in the settings. How do get this camera to accept cam unlimited. This is all off of one account that the cam unlimited was purchased through.
The other two cameras are working properly with cam unlimited.
I readded the cameras to the account and it popped up and said it attached to the cam unlimited but trying to charge settings related to cam plus it pops up and says we need to subscribe

Let me make sure @WyzeMatt is made aware of this because everything should be automatic.
Having said that, login to wyze.com and go to account. Click on Cameras on the plan and see if it shows up there.
Also go to the services section in the app and check there if you haven’t.
Can you submit an App log for account and services, choose services Then explain that one of the cams isn’t linking to cam unlimited and post the log here for Matt to give to someone?
The services section in the app states that the account is on cam unlimited.
The log for services is: 1614741 and the one I submitted for the cameras earlier is 1614720
I’ll see if I can direct my parents to wyze.com as I am not longer with them.
Thank you for the quick response and help!

Interesting, so the services page says Cam Unlimited is applied, but it’s not working for them for some reason?
I would also consider contacting Wyze support, and posting the Support ticket number if support is unable to get that resolved. That sounds really weird.
Can you elaborate on what wasn’t working that made you believe the camera wasn’t attached to the subscription? For example, was it not allowing you to select the AI detections/notifications (ie: they were greyed our or something), or what were the key things you were trying to set up that weren’t allowed?

I was attempting to change the event recoding in the settings as well as charged the floodlight detection type
Everytime I went to charge a setting that is associated with cam plus it would pop up saying that it required it.
The firmware is also up to date for the latest public release as of today. (Forgot to mention that)
On a side note, I remember having a semi difficult time getting my floodlight pro to attach to my account. I wonder if something in the set up process is messed up? Just a thought.
It is definitely a really weird problem. I personally have like 8+ cams that never acted like this.

Definitely weird. Even when it gets resolved it will be good for Wyze to be aware that their auto-assign protocol isn’t working completely smoothly sometimes.

@WyzeMatt just wanted to double check that you’ll see this thread
Just a quick update for anyone experiencing the same issue. Support recommended deleting the device and setting it up as new, which did the trick. Not sure it didn’t work when I tried it originally but all is well now.

Interesting. There is some glitch in the assignment function apparently. Good to know the resolution.
Looks like Matt hasn’t been on since 10/10/24, so he hasn’t been on here yet to see it. At least there are logs if someone wants to check and see what the cause is, but I’m glad you got it resolved.
