I have a Flood Light V2 that I would like to find out if the flood light work.
Back in May 2026, we had a lightening bolt strike within a quarter mile of the house. The camera stopped working.
How much power & what kind of power do I need to find out how to test these floodlights out to find out if they still work?
It requires 120 VAC. It would need to be added to the app in order to activate the lights for testing.

When I had the floodlight mounted, the app could not find the Flood Light V2 at all.
I have taken the unit apart and have the LED ends showing.
I proved that the LEDs do not work on 12V.
How does the little circuit board turn the LEDs on?
The 120V must be reduced to a voltage that the LEDs use to light up.
When the floodlight was manufactured, I would guess that the LEDs where checked to make sure that they worked.
