Flippin blue light flashing on base station

I’ve read at least 20 entries on the blue light flashing and I still can’t fix it. Once connected to my Xfinity modem it connects and stops flashing. I get a msg window saying I can disconnect and it will automatically connect to WiFi. As soon as I do this and connect base where it normally goes it starts flashing again. I waited 15 mins and never stopped. Like many of us I’ve been a customer for at least 5 yrs. Happy with service sometimes and mostly frustrated with my outside cameras. We have 8 total and home security cams. I am so ready to buy new system with simplisafe or others I’m researching. A family member has simplisafe and has no issues. I have a new modem with Xfinity and it’s IP address is 192.68…
I’m not about to reset my modem as it was only connected yesterday. HELP HELP……

Does your new Xfinity have the same wifi SSID for the 2.4GHz network as your previous setup.?
Did you tap change connection and type in the 2.4 network name and password.?
My base has always been connected via ethernet.

Yes thank you for taking time to read my predicament and replying. One thing I didn’t mention is that it was doing this before I installed the new one. I used the same password etc on the new modem. The station maybe going bad is my fear. Of course they’re not available anymore unless I go on eBay etc. Not paying big bucks for it. I’m leaning towards pitching everything and taking the loss. And to think I’ve recommended Wyze to so many.

I’m still using the four WCO v1 cams I installed 4 Nov. 2020. The base I am using now was install 5/12/21 which is one that WYZE sent me to try out for unrelated reasons. I also still have the original base that I used from Nov.2020 - Feb 2021.
I know some members have had good luck using the base with wifi and others not so much. My furthest cams are only 45 feet away from the base so I just leave it connected via ethernet. About every 3-4 months the base goes off line so I just power cycle it and am good for another 3-4 months.
