Anyone using v3 firmware 4.36.14.3497 and if so how is it working for you?
I will answer my own question and give 4.36.14.3497 a Thumbs Up.
I always start by updating my Backyard v3. If Notifications, Cloud Video, SD card playback and Live View work then I update the rest of my v3 cameras one at a time. I am still using App version 2.50.
I am, on all my v3s. I do it the same way, I upgrade my backyard cam first, test for a day or two. If no issues then I update my other one at home. Wait for a day or two then I update the other four at the cottage one at a time.
I have a simple strategy on firmware updates; the higher off the ground, the lower priority.
Yeah, it’s been working fine for me.
Generally, a firmware thread with hardly any comments is a sign it’s probably fine. Many of us make an effort to come comment when there are abnormalities.
This still has not fixed the bug where the first recording will not load to play.
First recording for the day? I’ve had a few that don’t play at all, but it’s rare. I always thought the camera upload didn’t complete.
Yeah, especially when a fixed camera gets a panning control.
