70 amp @ 5 volts makes 350 watts. There are four of those power supplies. There are 2,600 pixels on the tree and 270 on the star on top. Each pixel draws between 55 and 60 mA at full 100% white, so if the tree and star are at 100% full white it will draw almost 175 amps. Does not really need four supplies, but because of the way the controllers are wired, it is convenient. Also, I will note that if all 2,870 are at 100% white, it’s an insane amount of light.

Reminds me of that commercial where they could see the light display from the international space station.
Obviously your setup is something totally different from anything being used on these cams. I’d imagine the gauge of the wiring is pretty hefty to handle that kind of current.
