Failed to load from cloud server

when I click on recent events and select an event to replay, it says “Failed to load from cloud server”. This has been going on for the last 3 hours. It also hasn’t recorded any events in the last 3 hours. I’ve reboot the WiFi and the cam itself and it’s still happening. Anyone else having issues?

There was an issue today being reported by multiple people. It should be resolved or resolving. It’s possible that events during this time will have issues, but new event shouldn’t have issues.

You could try to clear the app cache:

Expand this for instructions to clear Cache/Memory-Leak Variables:
  • CLEAR THE APP CACHE:
    1. At a minimum, in the app go to the Account Tab
      ➜ Select App Settings
      ➜ Go down to where it says Cache File Size
      ➜ select Clear on the right side.
    2. If using Android, Go back to your phone’s home screen and Long-press on the Wyze app’s launcher icon (or wherever you tap to initially open the app)
      ➜ Select App info in the pop-up menu.
      ➜ Select Storage and Cache
      ➜ Tap Clear cache (and consider tapping on Clear storage too) on the Storage screen.
      ➜ Just to be thorough, tap Force stop on the App info screen (may need to tap OK to confirm).
  • Restart your phone.
  • Restart your router (and modem)
  • Restart the Wyze device (unplug the power cord and plug it back in)
  • Now try it again with everything pulling fresh and no potential memory leaks, etc.

Also, make sure you aren’t using a long 3rd-party USB cord or adapter as those are known to cause intermittent issues due to weak power received during times when the camera needs to draw more power.

Sometimes That resolves issues like this. However, if those events aren’t working right because they were processed during a time when there was an outage of things not working right, it’s possible those events might be corrupted and not work still. Check and see if the issue is still happening more recent events. If recent events are working fine in those older events still aren’t then that’s probably the case. If recent events still aren’t working, then hopefully the clearing the cash instructions will help like they often do for people.

It’s not capturing recent events either… The live still works and I can still record but it’s no longer capturing events.
