It would be nice to have some sort of external sensors that work with specificly placed cameras maybe by Bluetooth. You can place them farther from the camera to pick up things that are perfectly in view when viewing the camera live but too far for the camera sensor to pick up. We have a produce farm and certain animals (like raccoons) get in and destroy crops but they’re too low to the ground for the cameras to sense them so we don’t know where their entry point is. Also, people can walk right up to the office door and the camera doesn’t pick it up because it’s a ways back, in the only location that was feasibly placed (for electricity), etc). Independent little external sensors can be placed within bluetooth range synched with a particular camera and trigger the camera to record and send a notification if enabled when the external sensor sees something the camera’s internal sensor cannot detect due to distance from the camera.
