Events Don't Play Off Of SD Card Unless Viewing SD Card

This is kind of annoying. I understand that the company wants to push for the subscription but why am I not able to view events by clicking on the event? I only get a still image and it does not pull from the SD card.

The events tab is for Events saved to the cloud. if you have not subscribed to a subscription, then you will only see a still image.

To View the events from the SD Card, you will need to stream the camera and click on the SD Card icon.

You can submit a wish in the Wishlist location to provide a means of getting to the SD Card from the Event Screen directly.

Thanks for the reply and will do. I’ll be returning my flood light for now and hopefully this feature is implemented so that I can continue to purchase additional products.

On mine if you tap an event and bring up the still frame, you then tap “SD card” and it plays the SD card recording of the event.

ANDROID has SD access There are 4 icons across the bottom of the EVENT IMAGE as follows:
“Go LIVE … SD … SHARE … More”

Iphone has NO SD access There are only 3 icons across the bottom of the EVENT IMAGE .
The SD icon is missing:
“GO LIVE … SHARE … MORE”
Note: Tapping MORE only adds Download … or DELETE

This is only an issue with the WYZE Iphone Ipad Apple Apps. There is no event icon for SD access on Iphone. On my android devices if you tap on the event image the screen shows an SD icon below the image which takes you directly to the video in motion. On my iphone the SD icon is missing. Rendering the EVENT SD access feature useless on iphone. Note: I do not subscribe to cloud. I use the SD feature only it is Flawless on Android. It does not exist on Iphone.

A Wyze chat answered my issue. The SD Event video feature only appears for the person who opened the WYZE acct. If you share the camera to another email this feature is locked out. But if everyone can use the primary log-in then everyone will be able to access the EVENT SD playback and all the features of the primary account. YAY

Correct, guest accounts can’t view SD recordings, they are very limited.
