Event thumbnails don't show the event trigger (green square)

The event thumbnails in the events list no longer show the event trigger (green square) that initiated the event. I’m fairly sure it used to a while ago, and my wife concurs. This would eliminate the need to trudge through the entire event video trying to see what triggered it.

Is “motion tagging” enabled on your v2 camera settings?

Open cam to live view, tap more on the bottom right of the app. Motion tagging should be green if on.

Thanks for the response @Antonius. It is turned on, and I’m getting the green square in the event video, I just have to watch through the whole video to find it. In my opinion, the thumbnail should show a snapshot of the point in the video in which motion was detected, including that green square showing where in the snapshot it saw the motion.

Except for the large number of people who turn off that stupid green box as soon as they set up a camera.

I don’t understand @K6CCC , why would you not want to see what caused the event to be recorded?

Because I don’t want the stupid green box interfering with the video - or taking a really great image and messing it up with the stupid green box, For example, you got a rare image of some animal that seldom shows up in your neighborhood, and you get a great image of the bear (or whatever it is) in your front yard, and there’s that stupid green box ruining the image. Or right across the bad guys face…
Also note that every one of my cameras records 24x7 to uSD cards and I seldom and looking at “event” videos.
