Is this a known issue? No matter how many different SD cards I’ve tried, or how many times I’ve restarted, formatted, or reset the device—whether set to Events Only or Continuous recording—the doorbell simply won’t record.
For context: the doorbell is hardwired, and all my SD cards work perfectly on my Cam v3, Cam OG, and Cam Pan v3.
It’s disappointing that, despite Wyze being a mature company now, new devices still suffer from unstable software. I expected better reliability at this stage.
For what it is worth, I am using the Wyze SD Card since I had a few left over. I do not have any issue with continuous recording to the SD Card.
I am sure you did, but confirm that you have the SD Card selected in the advanced setting area. If you have access to an Android Device, check on that as well as it could be an App issue.
What version of the iOS app are you using? Please provide the app version from the About screen.

I removed power from the device for more than a day.
Since other Duo Doorbells can record, I almost think it might be a hardware issue with my unit, although the chances are low (all other features are functioning except recording into SD card)
