Doorbell V2 not recording events

My doorbell V2 is not recording events. I’m pretty sure I’ve got all the settings correct, as they are the same as my floodlight which is working fine. Firmware is 4.51.2.1041

Problem is the same for both iOS and Android phones

Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the Forum, @josephmlipton!

Since I don’t know how you have your Cam Floodlight settings configured, some detail about how you have things set (i.e., what you’ve done that you expect to work) would be helpful, as would any relevant screenshots, though as a new user you’re limited to only one image per post. (You can quickly overcome that limitation by spending a little time interacting here.)

Other relevant details that might help others here to assist you:

  • Whether or not you’re a Cam Plus or better subscriber
  • How you’re trying to record (cloud vs. microSD card)
  • What exactly you’re trying to accomplish (e.g., trigger on generic motion)
  • What you’re experiencing now, where you’re not seeing events that you expect to see
  • What app version(s) you’re using

I have Cam Plus

I’m recording to an SD card, but since I’m cam plus I think the events should record to the cloud as well (but they are not being triggered at all)

I want an event to record/trigger when someone is at the door. That’s really the goal. Right now no events are triggered.

App v 3.2.7

No events at all? Or no AI tagged events? What’s your notification page show?

That’s what I’m wondering, too.

Is the card recording Continuous or Events Only? What do you see on the microSD card recording timeline and on the Events tab?

It’s set to continuous recording

Ok, I “reset” and “restarted” the cam. It seems to work now

I’m also consistently getting this exact issue, with zero events recorded with very similar settings. Cam Plus sub, local SD card constant recording, no events listed. Resetting settings and rebooting the camera doesn’t usually fix it. I ended up having to physically disconnect power to the camera, master reset it, and set it up from scratch again, to fix it. The fix lasted a couple weeks then it stopped showing any events again.
