My house does not have a chime. With my v1 doorbell I simply used the Wyze Chime, but that will not work with the v2. So, what can I use now?

Unfortunately I don’t think there’s any standalone chimes that work with the v2 doorbell. I don’t understand why they weren’t able to just use the v1 doorbell chime, but it must have been some sort of compatibility issue.
You can have your Amazon Alexa devices announce when the doorbell is pressed, and your phone can receive a notification, as well as VOIP call (though I’m not 100% sure about that one).
How are you powering the doorbell location?
I live in an old house, the doorbell was broken but the transformer still works. Changing the system now would require rewiring under the house. I’m so disappointed at this downgrade.
