When I try to organize my cameras in the device section, the order I set them in resets and mixes everything up. This is really frustrating, and it happens to other people in my family as well. Also, in the same section where I used to see a list of all my cameras, I now only see the names. In the old app, there were thumbnails for each camera, which made it easier to organize and select the one I wanted to open. Please fix the devices section so we can organize our cameras and other devices the way we prefer, and bring back the camera thumbnails.I know I can add cameras to my favorites to see them, but for someone like me with around 20 cameras and many other Wyze devices, I prefer the thumbnails.Thank you.
Some of your post seems like you’re requesting a feature change for the new app version, so you might want to add your comments and vote in this Wishlist topic:
The issue with your device list order not remaining set after you arrange it seems like a potential bug, so for that I’d be inclined to submit a log from the app to Wyze whenever you see it happen again and then follow that up by opening a Support ticket which can be linked to the Log ID. This can help the engineers track and issue and know what to look for in a log.
Since you said that this is also happening to others in your family, I’m wondering if each family member has his or her own account. I don’t want to assume anything in your particular situation, because I know with the way Wyze doesn’t allow shared device users to have access to certain features people sometimes share actual Wyze accounts (e.g., spouses both using the same e-mail address and password to login on different phones), so it would be important to eliminate that as a potential cause of the problem, because if one person changes the device order on one phone, that change (using the same account) is going to be reflected whenever the Wyze app is launched on a different phone.
If you can eliminate that as the source of the problem, then, yeah, it seems like you might have identified a bug, so I’d log it and open a ticket.
