Delete All Events Feature in App

For cloud events? Deleted. The deletion is done by calendar days and is automatic in the cloud even if the camera is disconnected.

If you use an SD card to save event recordings, those will be preserved on the local SD card still until the camera writes over them after it turns back on and gets new recordings to put on that card.

I think I did not post my question correctly. I do not use an SD card. I purchased this Wize cam in 2024, paid one year of subscription Cam Plus Annual License (1 device) (Wyze - ) but it expired and I did not renew it.My question is: If I unplug this camera for 1 month, what happens to the events it recorded prior to me unplugging it? Thank you again.

This is the answer:

They always disappear forever if they are older than 14 days.

Have you considered using an SD card? Many on this forum use Wyze cameras with no subscription and SD cards set to Continuous Recording.

You can then unplug your camera and videos will stay on the SD card until plugged back in and the oldest files get over-written.

Great. I just do not see any other way to delete the hundreds of event stored. Thank you very much again.

I called support about this and they said to click funnel and it should select all, That never worked. You still have to select all around 12 times and anther three times to delete them.
It would be nice if we had the old software that worked better. The new software don’t allow you to record events, so I have to turn updates off in order it to it to work, thats not security. thats extortion to buy cloud serviced=s. 6 years with Wyze now, not much longer. :frowning:

Who has the time to delete events in each camera every day. it would take me 30 min each day. I have 9 cameras and don’t delete anything any anymore, I can only go back 2 days maybe 3 if I’m lucky. high speed internet don’t help any. all cameras should except a 256gig min card to balance the faulty software.
