Continuous motion tracking possible? no return after 15sec

i want my camera to continuously track motion from the last spot motion was detected–not return to a home position after 15sec of inactivity. i have detection zones turned off, pan & scan disabled and waypoints reset to factory defaults.

is the 15sec inactivity period before returning to the original position hardcored behavior? or is it possible for the camera to actually do what i want? thanks

No, it will always return to the last spot before the motion started. Even when in pan/scan, after the motion stops it goes back to wherever it was panning last.
