working for me!
Did you do anything at all. Disconnect and reconnect the cams that werenât showing?
i had one sitting in my desk that had already been reset since it wasnt working before. added it just now and its showing in web view with all my others now. id try resetting and setting up from scratch again if you havent already
I am still seeing the same thing. My two V3 Cameras that I set up on May 27th are both still coming up with the same message you are getting informing me that the V3 cameras are not compatible devices :((
I just did a reset with scanning the QR code etc including a new name with the same result. I have a feeling that the MAC Addresses for those two cameras have been flagged at WYZE.
All cameras now live streaming!
I deleted the two cameras in question and then ran setup. Attached them to Cam + Unlimited and problem solved. All cameras now showing live on the Wyze portal.
It looks like Wyze fixed the problem without announcing it,
Steps:
Delete camera/s
Run setup
Attach to Cam+U
Thanks for the heads up⌠Yesterday I did the set-up with no change, but after your post today I deleted the two affected cameras and they are now both live streaming on my Cam Plus account ! I must admit I thought there would be a follow-up note from Support informing me the issue had been resolved with the steps I should take to correct things at my end. Just happy to have my cameras back in operation again
I had a pending update on 3 of the 4 that werenât working (2 v3s and doorbell v1), that didnât help. The next day, I had connection issues on one, so I restarted it (v3). And when I signed on web view, I noticed all 4 were working.
Perfect! Finally we got there.
Its been an interesting âcampaignâ to get what we deserve - a product doing what itâs meant to do.
Thanks for all your help
Have you got it working yet?
No not yet! The camera is high up and I would have to take it down to reset it. That is ridiculous in and of itself that I have to jump through so many hoops just to get it working. I have been debating on doing it. Because if it doesnât work for me I may just throw out all my wyze cameras too frustrating.
Well, it was too good to be true. Back down for me on the ones I originally had issues with. Others are still working fine.
Not sure this will help you. I was playing around with blocking ports on my router and I managed to kinda recreate this issue.
I blocked port 443 to one of my V3 camera and I couldnât connect on Web Live to it. I could live stream it on my phone via Wi-FI or mobile network though.
When I blocked port 10001, I could connect via Web Live. I could live stream it on my phone only on Wi-Fi and it wouldnât connect via mobile network. This is another issue that users are experiencing on another thread (XFinity XB7 gateway issue).
They seem to be coming back online slowly 2 out of 4 back streaming. Only thing Iâm doing is hitting âreconnectâ on them for now
I have a V4 and two OG cams in my webview acctached to cam+ subscription. My v4 was working fine then it suddenly stopped and I get connection failed with a button to submit a log that takes me no where. Iâve tried Wyze support and they seem clueless and dont know how to fix it. I am not trying to be mean but I am so frusterated, and I have tried every single thing on this forum the subredit forum, etc. It just wont work and its the newest v4 camera with lastest firmware.
Did it start with a firmware or app update?
I wish I had an good answer. I am not entirely sure when it stopped or why. Good question though. I just had another firmware update over the weekend that did not fix it.
Is it only web view, does it work in the app when connected to your wifi and/or when connected to cellular data?
all cams in the app are just fine and like I said I have tried everything to get it to work. Itâs just the one v4 camera in the webview.
Each cam model has some differences in protocols used and servers they connect to. Thereâs a few possible explanations I can think of. Do you have you own router or is it an ISP router (and what kind of internet type)?
I have my own cable modem and router. Nothing has changed with my ISP or internet. Infact nothing has changed at all with my wyze cam setup. it just stopped working after working just fine ever since I got the v4 cam when it came out. So iâve had it for a few months. I have two other cameras in my webview that work just fine one OG and one v4.
