My app picks up the wyze cam but not my internet connection i use xfinity … is my internet service not compatible?

Are you trying to view your camera With the app On your Wi-Fi or Cell network ?

On my phone i was able to figure it out my modem runs 5 and 2.4 ghz so i seperated the connection with different network names and hooked my cam up to the 2.4 ghz and she is set

You have to go into your router’s settings (usually 192.168.0.1) and have the username/password to get in. Once in there you go find the wireless settings and there is usually an option to turn on 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz SSIDs separately.

What brand and model router do you have?

Thanks so much. I have a Comcast Xfinity router. I sure hope that it gives me the option to do this. I will check shortly.

ahhh, for that modem/router it says it’ll be 10.0.0.1 and the default login info admin for username and password for password
