Connecting a Doorbell Camera to the Wall Plate

Well, I was just guessing. Like I said, I don’t have that specific model, but looking at the Quick Start Guide for Duo Cam Doorbell it appears to hook into the Back Plate at the bottom and then rock to click in at the top, similar to Battery Video Doorbell. I know from experience that if those screws are too tight on that model then I can’t get that click that rocks the doorbell camera into place.

I wonder if a 3D-printed extension would be practical in your application. Although this topic was originally about an angled mount, @t0n3 indicated that the Thing page has been updated with additional models for flat mounting:

My primary access to 3D printing is through my local library, and I used that to create a custom mount (which I want to redesign) for my Video Doorbell v2 that gave me a downward angle and more space for the wires.
