Look at this sneaky @Crease trying to trick me into thinking it’s his forumversary:

His Cake day is actually Nov 6th.

I wondered when someone (but mostly you) would see that.

Are you suggesting that today should become the anniversary when this schmuck prompted an update to the Community Guidelines?

That’s gotta be some kind of achievement on its own, right? RIGHT‽ :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No Cake for you;

I can’t blame you too much. I did the EXACT SAME THING in Q1 2023 when Wyze first started testing this new feature. :joy:

The custom status feature launched in Discourse forum software in Fall 2022, then Wyze tested it with limited Trust Level availability in Q1 2023.

The last time I tried using it about a year ago, my status emoji would also show up when someone used my call tag, like this:

But it didn’t do that for anyone else. Somehow I was the only one with the special Mojo. Maybe I’ll switch back to trying it out again at some point. I haven’t really used it much since then because the status thing seemed to confuse some users at the time, so I thought I’d wait until it got more popular or used more commonly before doing it again. I’m glad to see more people starting to use it now.

See‽ Apparently you need another new badge, too. :smirk_cat:

I would say this is a cool achievement! Beans!

Indeed!

Thank you @IEatBeans

for creating a privacy-based web app to allow everybody to be able to stitch all the 1 minute SD card videos from the cameras on our computers/phones locally. And then sharing it with everybody here. That’s been such a high demand request for several years now.

Congratulations to the rest of us benefitting from this generosity.

:tada:

Coincidence?

Welcome back, @Seapup.

Ha. My next door neighbor (and landlady) came over earlier to give me some canned foods she had extra of and I gave her some skeins of crochet yarn. I asked her if she was missing one of her cats last week and she said yes, for 3 or 4 days, and thought a coyote took her. I told her how I found her inside the well house. I’ll probably set up one of my extra cams in there at some point, because I’m sure there will be times when I’ll forget to close the door.

I’ll second that. Even though @IEatBeans’s username makes me think of Monty Python’s ā€œMost Awful Family in Britainā€ sketch every time I read it, I’m sure that’s in no way reflective of the chicken superhero’s personal character.

I don’t think I have seen that one, so he’s just the bean eating chicken superhero to me.

Terry Gillam’s character lies on a couch for the duration of that one, shoveling beans from a plate resting on his chest into his gob, making an awful mess, and then when he runs out he repeatedly shouts about how he needs more beans. It’s pretty ridiculous[1].

Explain to me this footnote code:

It’s pretty ridiculous[[1]](#footnote-911764-1).

How does that markup code show up like this:
