I have Cam-plus on my front-door OGv3, and it’s been giving me these ‘complete motion detected’ notes for the past few hours. Is something new wrong with the system?
This is still happening. From just a minute ago:
The title “Complete Motion Detected” is used to descibe a motion-triggered event that includes no AI object. The word “Complete” is extraneous. The title simply means that “other” motion was detected.
It is the product of these user settings:
Detect “All Events” (vs only Smart Detection Events):
and generate “Other Motion” notifications:
Thank you, That’s… interesting. Because I’ve had that setup for months, and I’ve only just started getting that particular notification yesterday.
It makes me wonder how many other notifications I’ve not been getting, if you know what I mean. >.>
Considering I’m paying for a service.
I know what you mean. I primarily use Android and have been receiving those notifications for years. I don’t check my iOS devices very often. But it’s great to hear it’s working for you now. I turn that “Other Motion” notification off on most of my cams with high, non-critical activity… like leaves, shadows, rain, snow, bugs, etc., and just rely on AI event notifications. if you know what I mean.
I’m iOS only, for reasons; can’t switch up easily, TBI. But that’s why forums, eh?
I had found out that I got fewer of all notifications if that wasn’t checked off, even if it seemed to do nothing on it own, if that makes sense?
But yes, I’m very glad it’s doing what it’s supposed to now. lol
Thanks again for the info & help! I’m glad that whatever update was pushed to fix Friday fixed this too. ^^
