Can I use a v2 outdoor cam instead of the v3 for the garage door opener set up?

The Garage Door Controller is specifically designed and programmed to work with the Firmware on the V3.
The V3 that comes with the GDC is also a specially designed V3 with a specific power cord to work with the GDC.

It also doesn’t work with Cam V3 pro either. There should be a warning when you try to purchase only the garage controller alone that you should not try to use with existing cameras or purchase cameras separate from the bundle. I am so annoyed. Everything is harder when you order from Wyze. Pita.
