Various forms of ‘salute’ IIRC.

Yes, the one digit salute.

How’s that workin’ out?

I feel like both cats and racoons can convey that gesture with just their facial expression.

Sans AI (with a simple search) I checked how ‘affective’ you’ve been on the forum.

Do you feel me?

That appears to be a search for how many times I’ve said “feel”?

Feelings are a sign of weakness

@peepeep I have no idea when, but they changed the Panv3 to be vertical like the OG/v4 (in fact on the 3.x app it is exactly like the v4, double tapping in landscape brings up the timeline to the side). On 2.x it is more like the OG. Shows how much I actually review SD footage, I didn’t even notice the change (probably because all my other cams have the vertical one so it seemed normal). I’d say it must have been recent as there have been other changes to them too (one of which seems to have messed up waypoints) but my old phone with the 2.x app also has the vertical timeline so maybe it changed a long time ago? I guess I’m losing it.

This has always been my experience. I don’t have any Wyze Cam models before Cam Pan v3, which was my first and was activated March 2023. I’ve occasionally thought about picking up a Cam v3 just to have something with the “old” UI in order to experience and assist with that, but all of my Wyze Cams have the vertical scroll in the microSD recording timeline.

At some point my Panv3s had the horizontal timeline, and I really don’t think it was that long ago (maybe last year sometime), but these days time passes faster than it seems . I got these in mid 2023 so it can’t have been THAT long ago.

From what I’ve seen here the interface was not exactly like the regular v3 but pretty similar, at least the timeline was. Maybe there was some app setting that I changed and didn’t realize it, but I doubt they’d let you change that. Almost tempted to install an older version of the 2.x app to see if it changes back, unless it is somehow pushed out by the servers when you activate the cam and app version doesn’t actually matter. Seems unlikely though.

The “double tap to bring up timeline on the right” is definitely new though, I normally double tap to zoom so that was quite obvious today when I was reviewing some footage. That seems to have come along with the change to the interface, waypoints, and inability to have DZ enabled that happened recently, and it is not present in the 2.5 app.

One of the mods showed me how to make a table to better keep track of things. Variations in things. Across a product line.

You don’t become a moderator without knowing how to do this. We’re in good hands. :+1: :kissing_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I welcome any movement toward consistency in the UI.

I shared something like this recently, too:

I see what you mean and completely agree. :+1:

For my part, in the present and immediate future with v3s, since the space below the Live View is a big fat blank (no Recent Events list like in the newer cam models) they could drop an ‘All Events’ link, at least.

Lands you at the main Event List pre-filtered for the cam you are viewing.
