Always have a “Home” button.

This reminds me of something else:

My 2¢ on this is that repeatedly hitting the back button (whether it’s the OS’s back button at the bottom or the app’s back button at the top) should always take the user back to the Home screen before exiting the app…. Home should absolutely be the last stop before the app exits or minimizes back to the phone’s/OS’s home screen.

Until/unless Wyze ever enables the ability for the user to set the Devices tab as the starting point (and launch the app directly to that tab), what I’d really like to see is repeated use of a back (left!) button ( or ) return the user to the leftmost option, which is  Home | Favorites.

If I navigate to a device’s plugin page in the current production app and tap into  Settings ➜ Automations, then the app should remember the path I’ve taken and return me to Settings from here if I hit a back button. Instead, it just minimizes/dumps me back to the phone’s home screen, which is endlessly frustrating and drives me absolutely bonkers!

If I use the last v2.50x production app and navigate to that same device’s  Settings ➜ Rules and then tap “back”, then the app actually goes back to the Settings screen. Amazing!

I don’t know why Wyze broke this with the v3x app, but this is another thing I’d really like to see fixed going forward, and I’m glad so many others are chiming in about contrast issues!
