This is such a basic feature for most RGB lighting. Even “Five Below” brand RGB lights can do this. Doesn’t seem like Wyze is even listening to their customers. It’s been a year, and they haven’t even mentioned it. You can kind of get these effects through Lumia Stream software, but it can be kind of buggy sometimes.
… so disconnected
What a great one liner that sums things up somewhat nicely. I hope that’s not the case and the folks at Wyze that are responsible for making things happen… are really lurking here in the forums, consuming all of these great ideas…

This needs to be a feature right now, it should be a standard across all color bulbs.
when will this be a feature?
I agree that this should be such a basic feature for “smart” RGB bulbs here in 2022.
Come on …
When I bought the color bulbs I wasn’t even thinking color cycling for event scenes wasn’t available to enable. If this feature isn’t added it’s a deal-breaker for me to purchase more and I’m ready to upgrade my whole home with these as I do enjoy the color quality these lights produce.
More specific for me, I loved my “other” brand I was using where it would slowly dim to 50% at a certain time, but if the this feature was available it should accomplish the same thing.
Not sure why this is taking so long, it should be a quick firmware update.
I was expecting this option and surprised it is not there. Wanted to just rotate between my team colors during a game. I feel like Wyze is busy creating a ton of new hardware with some neat ideas but then they don’t actually improve or finish what they start?
Yes, would love to have the bulbs cycle through different holiday colors on their own. It would be a nice feature and add that holiday fun.
Almost two years later and this feature is still missing? It seems like it would be fairly easy to implement but perhaps Wyze will share information about why it can’t be done?
Ordered 12 bulbs and they delivered overnight. Put them all in and was excited to see them all cycling but, guess what, they don’t cycle! Seriously Wyze, do better. Ordered Govee bulbs for $55 less and beats Wyze hands down in features.
Gonna disagree here… Govee are 60 watt bulbs… and I’m guess they have NO rules to manage these things automatically.
So “beating Wyze hands down” is a bit of an exaggeration.
I don’t disagree that color-changing should’ve been in the bulbs but that 1 feature does not invalidate the other good features. IMO, a 60 watt bulb is NOT bright and is a deal breaker in buying any bulb.
It’s really subjective. 300 lumens for me isn’t going to change anything. I’m using these in my arcade where they will be running at less than 50% on average.
My house is covered with Govee strips already, as well as wyze cameras and wall switches. I feel like the Govee app (when it comes to lights) has much more versatility, and that is why, imo, it beats wyze “hands down”.
We need more votes to make color cycling happen!
I sure am looking forward to this feature. Hope it comes soon.
The vote is not very high. Status: maybe later.
Not looking good for the home team. Time to find a bulb with transitions elsewhere. It’s not coming any time soon.
Sung below, loosly to Wham “Last Christmas”. To my dear Wyze…
Last Christmas I gave you my heart (bought 20 of these) and the very next year, you never improved. This Christmas, to save me from tears, I’m buying another vendor’s…
I also would love to see a color cycle (Hue Scenes) feature added ASAP. I ordered a 2-pack of these today, but am now pre-disappointed after discovering this feature is not yet implemented…
I just received an email with the following. Is Wyze just teasing us or is this a real color cycling feature included with the new lights?
Wyze Bulb BR30 also launched and also sold out.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the color spectrum, another fulfillment of a long time popular user request also launched. Wyze Bulb Color BR30—the down lighting version of our popular 16-million-color smart bulb—launched and immediately sold out. Who knew so many of you were so curious to find out what it’s like to cook risotto in a rave?
Those are paired in a Lighting Group in the Wyze App with the Wyze Light Strips.
When the Wyze Color Bulbs and BR30s are paired with the Wyze Light Strips in a group they inherited the features of the Wyze Light Strips.
