Hello good day, what criteria does Wyze take to record some events more than others? I have important events that I only recorded 12 seconds and others not so important recording up to 1 minute.
Welcome to the forum @joseescalona623 .
Duration of recordings is based on motion. As long as there is one it will record to a maximum of five minutes. It is highly recommended to install SD card in the camera and have it set to continuous recording. That way you don’t miss important events.
I have cam unlimited plus, but both my cameras only record a maximum of 15, sometimes only 12 seconds, cutting off in the middle of motion. I’ve double checked all my settings, made sure firmware is updated, etc., but no improvement. What’s the point of paying for the subscription if this is the best I can get? Any suggestions greatly appreciated !
It should continue recording as long as it is detecting motion. Try doing a “reset services” on the cams, and also double check in your account and make sure they’re associated with the right subscription.
Did you ever have Cam Lite? Not that it works with the PanV3 but might be causing some glitch on your account, I believe @habib actually experienced something like this recently.
Didn’t your camera on Cam Plus record only for 12 seconds because of some sort of Wyze misconfiguration? Maybe this is the same situation.
I thought you were just asking a question, didn’t know you have an issue. If that is the case, submit a log and tag @WyzeJasonJ to pass it along to somebody at Wyze. That fixed it for me.
I did have cam lite at first, & will try your suggestion. Thanks so much for the advice!
