I recently acquired T-Mobile home internet. I am in the process of switching my devices from my cable router to the new one. The new one requires a longer password than the old. I cannot figure out how to switch the wifi networks on Wyze products without deleting them then adding them back. The bulbs aren’t a big deal, but I don’t want to have to drag out a ladder and climb up to reach all of my cameras. Can this be done without removing the cameras and adding them back?

If you are able to rename the wifi ssid and pw the same as your old one then you won’t need to do anything other than maybe a power cycle. Otherwise you will need to complete the initial install all over again but this time use the new ssid and pw.

So if you can’t use the same password & network name at the router, you would have to set them up again, but you wouldn’t need to remove them from the app first.

Stop. You don’t have to use a new SSID or password. The above advice is correct. Just figure out how to set your new router the same as your old one. It will be easy.
Absolute worst case (and this is NOT necessary) but if a theoretical router had a hard coded SSID requirement you could simply front end it with your own $20 router (again using the same old SSID and password the cameras are expecting) and even that problem goes away.
It’s a very common misconception that you have to change things when you get a new ISP or router. You do not.
Edit: I just re-read and see that you are talking about a password length requirement. If the vendor won’t help you bypass it then you might have to use plan B above after all.
