Captured on Wyze Cam

Never seen this before in my neighborhood.

It’s 2025 and it looks like the rarely seen fiber installers have arrived in my neighborhood.

Wasn’t sure if I would ever see them in my neighborhood, in my lifetime.

Not sure what I will do with real speed. 100 MB has served me well.

Once you experience high-speed internet, you’ll never want to go back.

I went from 100 to 1,000 Mbps and I can’t really tell the difference  The only time I can tell is when I download large files, they download much faster now. Regular web surfing and video streaming like Netflix, can’t really tell the difference.

It’s possible you have most of everything already cached; try clearing your browser cache and see how it goes at 100mbps.

I have had fast broadband at work but never at home. My dad has 500MB. 100 MB is fine for me but you always want more. Maybe I will broadcast on YouTube.

What’s your new logo say? Canada is not for ??? The gear blocks it.

Maybe you bought a new Windows PC and gave up on Apple.

“Canada is not for sale”

Wow. I didn’t know @habib had that power.

I think Greenland would be a better buy since there is no infrastructure to rebuild.

Been to Canada many times and liked it, but never visited Greenland.

It’s been a while since I made the switch, but I’m not talking about just browsing, I’m talking streaming Netflix, Apple TV+ and Prime. Couldn’t tell the difference. The only difference I saw and still see is downloading large files, gigabit plus.

Is it better now?

Why would I want to do that?

Not sure how to respond to that

Not sure how to respond to this either!?

Maybe we can get a 99-year lease like we do with Cuba?

Back in the ‘80s I was at a computer store and was amazed at the fast download speeds. They had one of them newfangled 14400 US Robotics modems. Blazing fast!

I think I still have that mp3 somewhere. I would play it on my phone just to see people’s reactions.
