Can't get more than 12s recordings on Cam Plus

I have 4 cameras on Cam Plus and never get any recordings that last longer than 12s. What am I doing wrong?

You probably aren’t doing anything wrong. There have been instances when the cam doesn’t do what it is told and the app doesn’t update the cam with real time info from the servers.

There are some things that you can do to force it to get with the program though:

  1. Insure your App and your V3 Cam Firmware are up to date.
  2. Unassign the cam from CP, close the app, reopen, reassign the cam to CP, test.

  1. Account → App Settings → Clear (Cache); Account → Sign Out; Close App; Force Close App from OS; Restart phone; Reopen App; test.

  1. Unassign cam from CP; Delete cam from app; Clear Cache #3 above; reinstall cam; assign to CP; test.

The first one seemed to work. I had an event that showed 25s but nothing over 12 ever since so keeping my fingers crossed that it’s actually fixed.
