I think it would be nice if Wyze created an outdoor camera for birdhouses or birdfeeders.
Just a thought —Ron

Welcome to the Wyze User Community Forum @Ron-RR !
This idea has been posted several times in the suggestions for what users are hoping will be the next release version of the Wyze Cam (V4) and Wyze Cam Outdoor (V3). Users have also requested a Bird Feeder Mount for the cams.
Follow the links, Vote at the top, like some posts that mention the bird feeder, and add a reply at the bottom in support.
May as well kick this off now…
I’ll start with Wireless Power …
MODERATOR NOTE: Now that the Cam V4 has launched , this topic has been closed. Requests that were not implemented on the V4 have been moved to a new Next-gen Wyze Cam (v5) Ideas topic. Please post new requests there (but do not repost the requests that have been moved).
I know the Wyze Cam Outdoor has recently been released however, I have some ideas for a second version of the Outdoor Cam which I think a lot of people would like as well. There are definitely some improvements that need to be made and I have a lot listed below.
Important things:
Able to be wired (plugged in). Would like the option to have the camera plugged in while keeping it weatherproof.
Solar Powered. Wyze needs to sell a solar panel that will work with this camera. If you can’t or don’t…
Please can you make a Bird Feeder that I can mount my outdoor cam onto? I could sit and watch the birds all day while answering phones at work.

They should sell separately the modification lens that comes with their bird feeder. It would be less expensive and we could use the cameras we already have setup.

Thought you’d like to know, One of the cofounders confirmed this coming just like you are hoping
We are working on the lens cover product without the birdhouse, agree there are cool use cases for it. Hope to have it live in the next few months.
Hopefully we’ll see that this spring when the birds are coming back.
