Can not review EVENTS

I noticed that I can not watch the EVENT videos anymore, I click on the play button and all i get is a popup with an ad to subscribe to a service to watch the event videos. Is this something new? I use to always be able to watch EVENT video’s…or am i missing or doing something wrong…Thanks!

Yes, it was new probably 2 years ago .No more free videos on the V3 you need to have a paid Cam Plus subscription or if you were previously using Cam Plus Lite at no cost. I suggest you put a good quality micro SD card in the camera and set if for either event or continuous recordings. When you get an event and it is just a picture, tap the picture and playback from the SD card.
You were just lucky it (free Videos) didn’t go away earlier I guess.?

Can confirm; I still get 12-second clips with my v3, and apparently I had also “signed up” for Cam Plus Lite. Says it’s valid through 2071.

However I don’t get the 12-seconds clips on my v2 even with a card…however I noticed that it was deselected; let’s see if that enables it.
Yup that worked.

If the OP (John) didn’t already sign up for Cam Plus Lite, is that no longer offered?

Cam Plus Lite is no longer offered. If you previously had it then it is still available. I have cam unlimited but I also have CP Lite on my account good to 2037.

Need more info, which model of cam and is it a new install?

As others have mentioned
Only the v3 and earlier are supported by Cam Plus Lite which was the free subscription that gave 12 second clips. Any cam released after that (I think about January 2022?) is not supported.

If you have an existing cam lite account you can continue using it for as many cameras as you had before they locked it, but only if those cams are v3 or earlier.

If it is the same cams but they just suddenly stopped working, go into your subscription settings and make sure they’re associated/checked off.

If you had the Cam Lite you can add additional cameras as long as they are the supported models. Someone confirmed that on the forum.

EDIT: I think it was @WildBill so let see if summoning him will confirm my theory.

Interesting, I thought I saw someone confirm they could add new v3s but only if they had an open “slot” from a previous cam (or removed another cam). Maybe a recent change.

I’ll see if I can find it as I have the Cam Lite subscription. I cancelled my Cam Unlimited but I can’t assign any of the cameras until my subscription expires. Wyze :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: politics

My company has some glitches (what one doesn’t) and I’ve had a couple customers imply that some of them were intentional in some way. I’m like I wish we were coordinated enough to do stuff like that intentionally.

Oh no, this is intentional. We asked and asked and they won’t change it. I would gladly keep the subscription if I can move some cameras to Lite, just for the cooldown. But since they won’t allow it, I’m cancelling and never getting another subscription out of spite and principle.

It was me. I bought some additional V3s and have been able to add them. My Lite subscription shows unlimited cameras, not sure if there are other categories though.
