Cams still work through CrowdStrike outage

Wow. No issues. Cams work fine during CrowdStrike goof.

Thanks Wyze.

Honestly, it’s impressive that Crowdstrike/Microsoft have as few outages as they do.

It feels like AWS has an insane amount of outages by comparison.

This is why it is a good idea to have redundancy.

I use Wyze as my primary camera company, but I admit that I have some cams from other companies that don’t use AWS specifically as redundancy during outages.

But when they do it they do it in a great global fashion.

Luckily, I don’t use Crowdstrike. At first I thought they were a hackers group.

No problems with Windows devices but Android is my backup.

Yeah, the outage didn’t seem to affect anything I use, like, literally nothing. I didn’t notice any difference at all. I even use Microsoft 365, etc, and some of my clients/companies use MS services, including Teams and other MS stuff, and we use portals and services from lots of other businesses, but nothing went down on any of them as far as I could tell.

Thankfully I wasn’t trying to travel though. I understand it messed up transportation pretty bad.
