Cameras not recording or displaying events after upgrading to Cam Plus, Tech support has been no help at this point except to say it is an issue on Wyze side but it has not been fixed yet.

There are a couple steps you can take to try to kick the cams into action. Test results before going to the next step.

  1. In the Account tab → Services, verify that each of the cams has been assigned to Cam Plus and is listed as a cam under the license(s).

  2. Verify in each of the cams’ Event Recording settings that you have the cam designated to record motion and that you have the Smart Detections (Cam Plus AI) that you want designated to record.

  3. Verify that you have Cam Plus AI events toggled on in the Notifications Settings for each cam.

  4. Verify that you have App Push Notifications enabled in Account → Notifications (also the bell icon on the Home tab)

  5. Verify that you have no Events tab Filters set (clear all) in the Event Filters selection page (funnel icon)

  6. Clear the cache in Account → App Settings

  7. Sign out of the app in Account.

  8. Force close the app by long pressing the icon, app info, force close

  9. Reboot the phone\tablet

  10. Full power cycle the cam (unplug 30s)

  11. Allow time for cam restart

  12. Log into app and test.
