Cameras no longer sending notifications to phone

As of very recently I’m no longer receiving notifications to my iPhone. Not sure if an app update happened or what. I’m on 4.36.14.3289. iPhone 13. Mostly cam V3s, a couple of V2s. No changes to the cameras. Notifications are all turned on. I can see in the events that the cameras are logging them. I have settings to only get notified of person, vehicle, or pet, I don’t get notifications for every motion or sound event or my phone would explode! lol

Are you checking in both the Wyze App and the iPhone Notification Settings?

Yes, notifications are turned on for each camera and on the phone. I’ve made no changes to anything for at least 6 months…they just stopped coming. Everything looks operational as normal except the notifications

A couple more things to try is unplug the power cords on your v3 and v2 cameras and WiFi access point for 1 minute. If power cycling does not bring back Notifications then try clearing the App Cache in the App Settings of the App.

What app version are you on? The latest is: 3.4.5.9 (April 16, 2025)

Can you share what your Event Settings are and your Notification Settings?

I know you indicated what you get alerted on, but do you have All motion set and simply turned off the Notification on all motion? I do it this way and don’t have issues with notification. It also allows for full recordings in the event the AI misses something. I also use and SD Card set to Continuous recording.

some of these cameras are very far away. I did power cycle them on the app though. I did just try clearing the app cache earlier today, had never seen that. It was at like 35 MB. But since I’ve done that I still haven’t received any notifications.

The 4.36.14.3289 I gave was what the firmware is listed as for each of the cameras and it says it’s up to date. The app is on 3.4.5.9. Event settings are on record motion events and on smart detection they are set to person, pet, and package. Some also have vehicle. Notification settings on the phone are set to allow notifications, temporary for banner style, sounds, and badges on. Basically everything is turned on. And nothing has changed, has been this way…but all of a sudden no notifications for any cameras. I have SC cards in all, and have continuous recording as well.

Did you power cycle your router/WiFi access point?

You also might try restarting your iPhone too.

I have restarted the phone a couple times. I have not restarted the wi-fi as the 40 other devices in the house are working fine with the wif-fi as is.

With 40+ devices on your WiFi, I would consider a restart of your access point at least as a one time test.

I power cycle my WiFi router once every month or so whether it needs it or not.

Can do when I get home. Worth a try.
