Cameras Keep Losing Connection

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my cable modem and since then my cameras constantly lose connection.

I have factory reset all my cameras and they were good until I left the house. When I came back they all had rapid flashing blue lights again.

If I power cycle my Deco Mesh system I can connect to them fr a very short time, then they lose connection again.

Any thoughts?

I just upgraded to the Deco mesh system 2 days ago and am having the exact same issue. I just chatted with tp-link and they told to me contact Wyze support. I’m hoping someone knows an answer to this issue.

I have Deco Mesh x68 but don’t see any issues. I wonder if you manually select the closest satellite for the cam, if it will maintain a better connection. I guess you looked at signal strength.

On my mesh, I made an IOT network and it seems to work fine. I noticed some cams use the weaker satellite but I got tired or moving it about. Seems to work fine for me.

Best of luck. Maybe other mesh users will chime in.

It seems like your Deco X68 mesh supports “Connection Preference”. If you haven’t tried already perhaps you can try to see if Deco’s “Connection Preference” feature will fix your problem. Click here for the guide.

I’m not sure if it will work because I don’t know if they will adhere to the same roaming suggestions on the IoT network like they do on the main network.

Thanks, but I don’t have a problem. It works if I lock in a connection or let it float.

Maybe you were talking about the OP? Thanks in any case.
