Camera wired to lamp socket works fine But the Bulb for stoop does not stay on.
What can you share about your Lamp Socket v2’s settings, and what behavior are you expecting or trying to achieve?
The light bulb connected to my lamp socket light used to stay on all night till dusk. The only way I get the light to stay on now is if I flip the power switch to the light on and off a couple of times, but it goes off after a few seconds this light used to stay on all night long. The camera works. That’s not the issue. It’s the bulb that’s connected to my outside light that won’t stay on and the bulb is good like I said it works when I flip the power switch to that lamp socket outside and the camera always works. It’s just the night light bulb does not stay on all night like it used to so now it’s pitch dark on my stoop.
I’ll refer back to my original question, because I haven’t seen anything about settings in your posts. Specifically, for the Cam that has the socket set as an accessory, I wonder how you have that’s Cam’s Settings ➜ Accessories ➜ Lamp Socket v2 configured. For what you’re trying to do, you probably want to enable Ambient Light and set an appropriate schedule for that.
