Camera Stopped Authenticating to App

Doorbell camera has stopped authenticating to Android phone. Doorbell gets blue indicator when pushed or hand is waved over indicator (no motion detection from camera). Only rings from doorbell itself and not from plugged in chime (both are plugged in and next to each other as I’ve been troubleshooting. Steps taken:

-doorbell fully charged

-modem & router restarted

-Wyze app uninstalled/reinstalled

-doorbell device turned fully off and back on

I’ve had same error message before (20004) and was always able to resolve it by charging the doorbell device.

Any assistance or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: Removing the device from the app and following instructions as if it were a new device resolved this error.

That’s the deal with Wyze, always troubleshooting some issue or another.

And usually issues with almost every update.

Have you tried deleting the App Cache? Sometime a reinstall of the App will retain settings and cache files.

His reinstall fixed it :smiley:
