Camera Can not connect to local network

I am reaching out regarding an issue with my Wyze Floodlight v1 camera. Last year, following a firmware update, the camera stopped functioning. Unfortunately, the person who initially had access to the camera removed it from the app, and since then, we have been unable to reconnect or regain access.

To troubleshoot, the camera has been factory reset. However, I understand that the firmware cannot be reverted to a previous version. During the setup process, all steps are followed correctly, but the camera consistently fails at the point where it shows the error: “Cannot connect to local network.”

I want to clarify that the issue is not related to the internet connection, as the same network was working perfectly with the camera before the firmware update.

Could you please assist in resolving this issue? It has been quite some time since the camera has been operational, and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your guidance.

Best bet is probably to reach out to Wyze Support on this. It is possible that it is network related, perhaps the firmware updated something related to wifi and caused a compatibility issue with the settings on your router.
