I had tested the Beta RTSP released by Wyze some years ago together with wz_mini_hacks (SD based firmware) using the RTSP of the official beta firmware (because the RTSP in wz_mini_hacks is not working..tried to fix unsuccessfully by now), this way you could also have SSH and SCP access to the camera, you could copy files for processing, I use it for astronomy due to its high sensitivity in light polluted areas . Yesterday I had to download and update manually the latest cam v3 official RTSP firmware from Wyze because for some reason after several FW updates through the Wyze APP it never reached the latest RTSP enabled FW and indicated latest firmware installed but it was quite old. Manually updated successfully and RTSP and change WiFi network are now available, I decide to test again the wz_mini_hacks I got from that time (no updates found recently), using a new FAT32 formatted card, I can confirm the RTSP is working from the official firmware tested in VLC, also is working SSH and SCP access added by wz_mini_hacks fw, so the latest official RTSP enabled FW from Wyze works fine with wz_mini_hacks SD based FW, both combined takes this camera to a full operative imaging workstation you can even access image parameters (not tested in deep yet), move files from SD on camera to remote computer, access wz_mini_hacks configuration files remotely also access by Web Browser if enabled in wz_mini.conf file allowing full parameters sets and live RTSP small window, will test in the following weeks whether there is no bug, with beta fw I remember recording stopped working from time to time, I had even found a way to detect it through ssh console and launch a reboot if no new recordings were found for the date and time, probably this problem could have been fixed, don’t know whether is caused by the combination of both FWs (hardware and SD based).
If anyone out there is testing is nice to hear other experiences.

Charly
