Cam v2 has SD card, but there is no playback

Hello. Re: one of my two V2 cams.

When I go to look at playback, it says there are no recordings at this time. The other cam has no issue with playback of events.

I restarted the cam, did a hard reset. Then it said there was no SD card.

Nothing has changed in the last several days. Have had no issue with my V2 cams. Updates are current.

You may have a failing sd card. Try a different one if you can.

I installed a new Sdcard, but there isn’t any play back. Although if I go to the calendar there will likely be a couple of days that have an outline around that indicates those days have content. When I select one of these, for 1.5 seconds I see there is content, it cuts out, then goes back to the screen which says there is no content…

My other cam of same version has no problems.

If it isn’t the card, you may have gotten water in the SD card slot (or the slot/camera is failing for some other reason).

What kind of SD cards are you using? These need decent cards especially if you are recording 24x7 and/or have them out in the elements. 2 months have passed since you said you were going to try a new card, did it work for a while then stop? May have just been a low quality card.

If it had the same symptoms right from the start, try blowing out the sd card slot with compressed air, and wipe the contacts on the card, then see if anything has changed. Format the card in a computer (preferably with the official SD Card Formatter from the SD association’s website) before putting it back in.

What size is the card? Are you certain you didn’t get a counterfeit card - extremely common with SD cards and will cause the device using it to get all confused, since it reports a certain size but can only actually hold a smaller amount.
