Ditto here. Cameras, floodlights, and Wyze plugs all unreachable. Understand things happen but extremely annoyed that Wyze hasn’t even acknowledged the outage.
Yep Yep, we’re all in the same boat, everything is down. My 4 cams of various flavors all down, IOS and Android Apps are doing the caca dance… Did the old reboot/restart everything routine like everyone else did. Next time I’ll come here first and save my time and trouble. Sounds like AWS again or maybe something more… Will check to see what else is down right now… Cheers!
Yes exactly. I went right to Wyze service advisory and known issues to see what was going on and there is no notice posted there. That’s when I went to the regular forum to see if anyone else posted.
I at least have a Furbo treat dispensing pet camera in one room and that works so I have coverage for one room in my house once I go to work.
Yes, same server communication issues as lately over past couple of months and can’t reach anyone at Wyze at all! There’s no new info on the Service Status page, so obviously they are sleeping, not aware, or whatever. Yesterday I was upset with one of my Arlo cameras, but at least their service rarely ever goes down!!!
The last time this happened how long did it last?
And no comments from them anywhere in hours. Not good.
Two phones, one can access some cams fine while others show offline. Other phone cant even load the device list in the app.
9 of 15 cameras are down for me, only v3 cams and an outdoor cam are still up.
I was working night shift and drove home so fast thinking we got hacked and home broken into, glad to see kids and wife sleeping soundly lol. I think its just server outage.
same here, both my cams are down
3 Wyze Cam v2 here all not working and blinking blue.
Try to restart still not working. Update done recently.
I needed to reconnect my Wyze App with my user password but still not working.
Same here all V3 cams not working. Nothing is showing up on the app as well.
Thought it was my app so I ended up reinstalling and still not working. Good thing I found this thread. Still no notice from wyze about the outage too
Any wyze staff to hv the announcement? It is so annoying
It’s all to do with your AWS, just like past few times. It’s all up to when AWS fixes the problem. Sometimes relatively quick, other times it takes hours
…just now 7:18 EST (Rebooted first on its own) Still blinking blue
Four cameras down. App crashes ever 30 seconds and can’t add/re-add new devices
Same here. All 6 cameras are down. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and all cameras disappeared from my account. If its helpful to anyone from wyze, at 03:21 this morning my router sent me a notification for a ddos attack with one of my wyze cams. Shows the source of the attack was my wyze pan camera and the target ip was 44.242.161.10 which shows its the university of california, san diego server and the location is oregon-boardman, united states.
There’s no update info on the Service Status page, which is irritating, but probably due to not currently business hours or something like that. Then, later on, someone will update it to say the issue is known and being worked on
And yet there are no reports of a wide spread outage from AWS.
