I am also having this issue of the V3 showing offline randomly and tilting to original Position. Multiple times I have to delete the device and add back on which is not ideal to have to continuously do. It seems to only be one of my pan cams. My other one doesn’t have this issue.
Is the camera on the latest firmware for the pan v3: 4.50.15.4800? What about a factory reset? Have you performed one on it? Is it showing offline because it’s in Privacy Mode? Connected to a 2.4gHz network? What troubleshooting steps have you implemented?
I’ve done it all. After it went offline last night I tried deleting and resetting it again and adding to app like I normally would and the camera wouldn’t even turn on. I switched the cameras that I bought as a set to see if maybe it’s the cord that was the issue but the other pan cam works perfectly fine using the same cord and the other one still wouldn’t turn on using the other pan cam cord. Contacted support and since it’s only 3 months old they’re issuing a warranty replacement.
Thanks for the follow-up. Good that you’re within warranty and receiving a replacement. I had to warranty replace a regular v3 a couple years ago that died after setup.
