Cam keeps going offline

My V2 floodlight Cam, which is hard wired to my old floodlight switch, keeps going offline. When I’m home and notice this, I just flip the switch off, then turn it on, and the camera begins working again.
I am now out of town for the next few months, and yep, the camera is off line again. Kinda why I have this camera is for when I’m traveling.
Anyone have suggestions.
I have a Tapo cam in the rear of my home, and this doesn’t happen.

Hi OP, I so get what you are saying. As I write this am frustrated trying to get a floddlight v2 back online yet again after failing every so often, placed within 10 feet of a router, with a strong wifi signal showing in the device settings, with WYZE tech support using answer 101- " it s not our camera, or us , its not me!", it must be YOU! .
and then we go around and around. pathetic. I have to reboot all the routers, then have to go hard reset, then listen to it trying to connect, failing 9 times out of ten. And the tech support that swears they do not keep our serial numbers logged and also can block our serial numbers from being able to connect, when you complain loud enough, they flip the switch and clear the serial number so it can connect again. It is completey a WYZE problem, caused by their method of cloud implementation.

I have had this less than three months. Worked fine first week. Then had to restart its set up. After another month cameras would not connect. Attempted to do set up again but found not able to power up.

Took apart and tested. Had power to camera. But would not power up. Contacted Wyze and they were not able to help me with a replacement. Not even sure I want a replacement as it does seem that this particular model - is trash

And which model is that? And what made you think it needed to set it up again? Is it outside? Need more details.
