WOC detection Event not working

I have set up detection strength, distance and notifications. It doesn’t recorded or alert an event. I have SD cards installed on base unit and WOC. What am I missing? Thanks.

Basic question: I am confused, does downloading new firmware update the Wyze app or just the camera? I have noticed some of the screen pictures uploaded by forum members look much different than mine. i.e Notifications screen
