My notification screen now looks like this, with no info on the clips.
What app version are you on? What troubleshooting have you tried? Do you have any type of custom theme or dark mode enabled on your phone? What device are you using? What version of Android is on it?
When reporting potential bugs, it’s super helpful if you provide any
and all relevant information as far actual version numbers to help determine where this potential bug could possibly be. There have been a number of app updates lately and without the claimant reporting that information, it’s hard to tell where this could be related to. There is also the fact that production app stuff is acted on different than beta app stuff, so that info is vital.
Running the current version available on google play. Not beta.
Trouble shooting? On a sudden issue when nothing on my end changed aside from how the wyze app displays? No.
Dark mode is enabled, and has been every since I set up my phone. This is Samsung’s official dark mode. Not a custom theme. It worked fine until 36 hours ago.
Samsung S20FE running the most current firmware.
Phone has been restarted several times.
Buggy update. I thought you bought a new car.
If you own a Wyze cam, troubleshooting is often required.
Luckily I don’t see any issues on my S21 or S24. Old and new tablets work fine as well.
Come to think of it, my friend’s S20FE works as well.
Wyze should make troubleshooting software. We all have the same phones, same cameras, same fireware but many have issues. I understand it cannot be a network issue.
It is puzzling.
Saying “current version” doesn’t quite tell the full story. Saying actual version numbers tells exactly where you are. Especially since there was just a app update a few days ago. If it were to be a slower roll out, then the new version may have not made it to you yet. Also if folks were to read this in the future, saying “current version” doesn’t mean much as there have have been one or more releases since this was posted and it would be unknown which actual update was the claimed potential issue here.
There was another change on your end, some level of app update. The update may have not been installed correctly. One troubleshooting process is to delete the app, reset your device, and then reinstall the app as a fresh install. This could fix any issues created by just doing an update.
It’s V3.1.5 (569)
