I have a v3Pro which I have attached to the inside of my window. At night, if there is movement and the light comes on, it reflects against the window and creates a “white flash” that prevents the camera from recording anything other than the flash of light.
I think there is a simple solution to this… Wyze Designers please take note… I think there needs to be a rubber “seal” added to the window mounting plate that would separate or block the light from the camera.
I have added some “Silly Putty” and created a barrier on mine, I’ll come back after testing it tonight and update this post.
If you are shooting through a window, your only option is to disable any forward facing light on the camera - floodlight, IR illuminators, and status light (for the camera types that have the status light on the front). It’s event worse if it is double or triple pane glass.
There is a window mount available that does seal the camera to the window but I doubt that would fix the problem. The seal will stop external light from getting in but the internal light from either the V3 Pro’s spotlight or the IR lights will still reflect.

@K6CCC hit the nail on the head.
Glass reflects light. All light emanating from the cam or from the room behind the cam must be eliminated. Disable the Motion Activated Spotlight. Disable the LED IR Lights. Disable the Cam Status Light. All of those will reflect and ruin the image.
Sorry about the delay… Adding the Silly Putty didn’t help. As a couple of you have said, the double pain window still reflects the light. Therefore, turning off any forward-facing lights is the only way to stop the reflection. The video from the camera without the light is still pretty good at night, but I think I will be moving the camera outside next spring instead of using the window mount.
